After 10 years we are saying a fond farewell to our customer magazine, Rooftop. We have launched a new magazine that is bigger, better and more focussed on the people who matter most – our customers.
Since its launch over 10 years ago, Rooftop has kept our customers in the loop on all things Trivallis, but with a review of all our communications having taken place it has been decided that it is time for a change.
Communications Manager, Mark Woods explains why: “As a team we felt that Rooftop could be more focussed on the customer and we really wanted to create something that you would love to read, a real page turner. Having surveyed customers, we could see that readership could be higher and also that the current content more helpful too, so we knew it was time for a change.”
Customers were surveyed earlier this year and while nearly half of those surveyed said they read it cover-to-cover, there was some room for improvement.
Importantly the survey asked customers what features they would like to see and you made some great suggestions such as more money advice, customer stories, budget cooking and health tips, as well as entertainment features, things to do and more local news too.
As part of making sure the magazine stays relevant we now want to invite customers to be part of our readers’ panel. Anyone can join; you don’t have to be an expert. We just want to get your views on each issue to make sure we are hitting the mark and giving you what you want from the magazine.
Mark added: “We want the magazine to belong to the customers and putting together a readers panel will ensure that we keep improving the content and building it around you. We are excited by what the panel will bring and encourage you all to get involved in whatever way you can and share your good ideas.”
