Transport for Wales has announced that new-style ‘Concessionary Travel Cards’ will be coming in as a replacement for the current green ‘bus passes’ across Wales.
If you use the concessionary bus pass scheme in Wales, you will need to reapply for your pass before Tuesday, December 31 – when the current passes will expire.
The new-style cards offer the same free travel rights and benefits as the current cards and are designed so that they can work as part of an integrated travel network in the future.
You are encouraged to apply online or ask a friend, family member or someone you trust to apply online on your behalf.
