Help us choose who delivers your services
At Trivallis, we sometimes need organisations outside of ours to provide goods or services. An example is valleys. magazine. Whilst our communications team write the stories, take the pictures and design it all in-house; printing of valleys. magazine is done by a local company that has the proper equipment.
We’ve been involving customers in the process of deciding which companies we use, or procurement as it’s known, to make sure they agree that we’re using the best people for the job.
Alun Hopkins from Abercynon is helping out with the procurement of Trivallis’ fleet; the group of cars and vans that we use every day. He said: “I have a background in driving so when I heard there was an opportunity to get involved in the fleet procurement for Trivallis I jumped at the chance.
“It’s really interesting to see the process and great to be able to make sure the customers voice is being heard.”
Albert Knight from Trealaw was involved in the procurement of our out of hours telephone service. He said: “There were four or five different companies bidding for the work and I helped to figure out which one would be the best option for Trivallis and its customers.
“I was able to have my say and nothing was laughed at, despite not being an expert in procurement. I really felt like I was part of a team and was so chuffed when the company that I suggested was awarded the contract.”
