Don’t forget rent is now due every week of the year including Christmas and the New Year

At Trivallis there are no longer rent-free weeks which means rent payments are due every week of the year.

With just a few weeks to go until Christmas, we understand there can be a lot of pressure to spend more than usual. As Christmas is one of the busiest and most expensive times of the year it is important to think carefully about how much you are spending on presents, decorations and festive food so that you still have enough money to cover the cost of your rent and household bills.

There is no doubt everyone deserves a special Christmas but missing payments for your rent and bills, in December and January, could result in you being behind before the New Year.

Getting ahead of the game and putting a plan in place can help to reduce some of the stress and financial strain the festive season can cause. There are some great ways to do this including using a budget tracker to keep you organised with your money. They can help to break down what money you have coming in and going out of your bank account.

Did you know you can also pay your rent that is due at Christmas in advance?

You can pay your rent early to make sure you don’t get caught short or, if you would prefer, you can add a little extra in the lead up to Christmas so that you stay up to date with your payments.

How to pay your rent

The easiest way to pay your rent is by direct debit.* Alternatively, you can make payments in person using your payment card in any Post Office or shop displaying the Pay Point signs. To find your nearest Post Office visit the branch finder.

You can pay your rent online, simply visit: AllPay.

You can also make payments over the phone by calling the 24-hour phone line on 0844 577 8321.

*Please note: if your direct debit payment is due to be paid on a bank holiday (which will include Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day), it won’t be processed until the next available working day so please make sure there is enough in your account.

Christmas Closure

Our office will be closed over Christmas so please double check your rent payments won’t be affected by our Christmas Closure.

We will be closing from 12.30pm on Tuesday 24th December 2019 and will be back open on Thursday 2nd January 2020.
