Trivallis has been involved in supporting University of South Wales (USW) Quantity Surveying and Project Management degree students with their studies for many years.
The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited course offers students the opportunity to learn skills and competencies that are directly relevant to industry practice and standards.
Andrew Davies, Health Safety and Compliance Officer at Trivallis, said: “I recently visited USW to deliver a presentation on Asbestos Management to Quantity Surveying and Contract Management students.
“Supporting the Univeristy is a great opportunity for me to use my skills and knowledge to give something back to students form the community where I live and work.
“There is the potential that some of the students may become Trivallis employees in the future and in a small way, I have helped in developing their career and future aspirations.”
Colleagues from across Trivallis have delivered presentations to students on subjects such as surveying empty properties, contract management and project management.
John Ryan, Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering, said: “I would just like to thank Andrew for delivering his presentation on Asbestos Management to the second year students. Once again Andrew was superb in his delivery and ensured the students fully understood the implications and their duties in respect of Asbestos Management.
“Students found the presentation very interesting, informative and it will be of great assistance with their coursework. I hope we can continue the excellent partnership that has been forged over the years and Trivallis can continue to support students well into the future.”
