Construction sites have been deemed a permitted activity by the Welsh Government, as long as social distancing is maintained, and other guidance is followed.
Over the coming weeks, our construction sites will open, and the works will continue on building our new homes.
We would like to reassure you that we have worked closely with our contractors to enable works to continue without compromise on safety of those working on the site and the general public.
Some of our sites have been closed throughout the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis, whilst some have remained open. However, all sites have been assessing the best ways to ease the impacts of COVID-19, ensuring the safety of the workforce and the general public at all times.
Additional measures that have been implemented to ensure safety include:
- Introducing regular deep cleans of all projects,
- Limiting the number of people able to work in a property at any one time, and
- Changes to workforce welfare areas in order to maintain the social distancing requirements.
Some of our contractors have introduced a COVID Control Compliance Officer on projects to coordinate and monitor the social distancing requirements.
