Your mental health and wellbeing should always remain a priority, especially during the current crisis.

If you are struggling and need support, we have some helpful advice on taking care of your mental health and support for young people.

Valleys Steps is a well-being charity that runs sessions and provides help to anyone across Rhondda Cynon Taf who needs support with wellbeing, stress management and mindfulness.

Due to COVID-19, the sessions that Valleys Steps provide have moved to online sessions.

The sessions are:

  • Easy to sign up to, simply register your place by visiting Valleys Steps’ online sessions page.
  • Attended from the comfort of your own home, use your own device to take part in the sessions in a comfortable environment.
  • Available weekly, different sessions run on different days at different times for you to find the best one suited to you.
  • Based around stress management and mindfulness, along with panic, anxiety and sleep management.

If you have attended a course, you may want to practice some of the techniques that you have been taught. Valleys Steps has a dedicate page with audio guides on mindfulness and stress management, that you can access and download.

There is a blog section on Valleys Steps that has blogs available for you to read, covering a range of topics surrounding mental health and wellbeing that you may be able to relate to.

For additional support, there is a community resources page, that provides links and support for help surrounding support services, counselling, mental health, domestic abuse, physical wellbeing and much more.
