At this time of year, teams from across Trivallis are normally out and about in our communities hosting lots of fun family events. We had such fun at last year’s Penrhys Disco and Fan Heulog Great Estate Day.

COVID-19 safety measures mean we can’t all come together this year, but that won’t stop us bringing you a week of online activities to keep you and the little ones entertained across half-term

Follow @wearetrivallis on Facebook and Twitter now, and from 23rd – 31st October you’ll see us posting lots of Halloween themed crafts, recipes and competitions for you to get involved in. You could even be in with the chance of winning one of three £30 Love to Shop vouchers. Read more to find out what we have in store…

Get Crafty

Follow our tips and templates and carve the perfect Halloween pumpkin, as well as our tutorial on making a ‘Spooky Skittles’ game for lots of family fun this halfterm.

Terrifyingly Tasty Recipes

Our ‘petrified peppers’ recipe will help you make a low cost, Halloween dinner. Or why not try some Witch’s Fingers or Freaky Fruit Monsters for a tasty Halloween snack? We’ve also posted the recipe videos for these on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Spooky Story Time

Listen to some spooky stories with our Halloween read alongs. We’ll be posting the video on our Facebook and Twitter pages on the 26th and 30th October so you can enjoy the story with us.

Fundraising Raffle (please note this raffle is now closed)

Our charity partner for 2019/2021 is Alzheimer’s Society Cymru and we’ve teamed up with local event specialist, Emma McCarthy, to offer an amazing Halloween themed family hamper worth £50 as a prize for one lucky raffle winner.

To enter, simply visit our Just Giving page  to donate £1 to Alzheimer’s Society Cymru and leave your name. We’ll use a random name generator and draw the raffle on our Facebook and Twitter pages on the 26th October, then we’ll just need the winner to get in touch with us to arrange delivery of their prize before Halloween.

Please respect your neighbours this Halloween and follow the latest Government guidance on COVID-19 safety measures.
