This Christmas may be a little different to previous years. Whether you want to wrap up warm and enjoy an outdoor event or stay at home and have some virtual Christmas fun, we have something for you to choose from. 

Outdoor events 

All events will be full of Christmas activities whilst adhering to social distancing and having hygiene measures in place, ensuring all are in line with Welsh Government guidance. 

Christmas at the Castle – Cardiff – 12th November to 3rd January  

This event is free to enter and will include a big wheel, fairground rides and games, along with festive food and drink facilities and much more. Find out more, here.

Alpine Village – Swansea – 14th November to 3rd January  

This event will include a seated food and drink area, and takeaway food vendors, rides and games area, including a giant wheel, and more. Find out more, here.

Christmas Market – Cardiff – 12th November to 23rd December 

The Christmas Markets are back at Cardiff this year, with new and returning exhibitors selling their products, along with food and drink stalls. You can find the stalls located on St John Street, Working Street, the Hayes, Hills Street and Trinity Street. Find out more, here.

Christmas Market – Swansea – 27th November to 21st December 

The Christmas Markets are back at Swansea this year, with festive treats, Christmas gifts and plenty of festive spirit for traders and customers to enjoy. You can find the markets located on Oxford Street. Find out more, here.

Online Pantos 

A trip to the theatre to watch a Christmas pantomime may be cancelled this year but you can enjoy one from the comfort of your own home. 

Jack and the Beanstalk 

Panto Online presents Jack and the Beanstalk. You can purchase a ticket from £20 to watch this online pantomime that is available to watch from 7:30pm on 4th December – 10th January. Find out more, here.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears 

The Great British Pantomime Company presents Goldilocks and the Three Bears. You can purchase a ticket from £15 to watch this online pantomime that is available to stream any time from 1st December – 31st December 2020. Find out more, here.

Cinderella  

Panto Live presents Cinderella. You can purchase a ticket from £15 to watch this virtual, interactive pantomime that is available from 7pm on 18th December until Christmas Eve (24th December). Find out more, here.
