It’s so important to take some time to focus on your mental health and wellbeing. Check out the advice below to help you get started…

The charity, Mind has some helpful advice and tips for improving your mental wellbeing. Including ways to relax, be creative, connect with others, spending time with nature, getting enough sleep and looking after your physical health. You can find their helpful suggestions, here.

Taking care of your physical health is a great way to improve your mental health and wellbeing. Making time to go for a walk or work out, helps to clear your mind and can help improve your self-esteem. Along with helping many other feelings, such as stress or anxiety and releasing good hormones, to help with happier moods.

If you want to start exercising to help with your wellbeing, Mind has a dedicated page on physical health that guides you through and provides support. The NHS has support around walking and health to get you started, here.

Walking is a great way to start, whether that’s on your own or with your family, getting outside for some fresh air and exercise will improve how you’re feeling.
