Over 300 selection boxes have been donated to school children and families across RCT, thanks to a partnership between Trivallis and Ralphy’s Roofing.
Ralphy’s Roofing, a construction partner Trivallis works closely with, donated 312 selection boxes to be shared with families that Trivallis supports and children in a local primary school.
Tracey Cooke, Senior Regeneration Programme Manager at Trivallis, said: “I reached out to some of our construction partners to see if they could offer any support to our communities this Christmas. Sharon Ralph, Director of Ralphy’s Roofing, was more than willing to help and organised for over 300 selection boxes to be donated and delivered to us so we could share them with tenants.
“We are so grateful for the generosity of Ralphy’s that will no doubt help to spread some Christmas cheer after what has been a difficult year for so many.”
In line with Government guidelines, all selection boxes have been safely distributed by Trivallis teams to those living in our communities in time for Christmas.
Out of the 312 selection boxes, 210 were distributed by the Sustaining Tenancies and Empowering People Support (STEPS) Team. Each team member safely collected the selection boxes and gave them to tenants that they regularly support, to spread a little bit of Christmas cheer.
The remaining, 102 selection boxes were delivered to Penrhys Primary School by Alix Howells, Trivallis’ Community Project Officer, where every child received one as a Christmas treat.
A tweet from Penrhys Primary School said: “Thank you to Alix, Tracey and the whole team for gifting the pupils these selection boxes for the festive period.”
Trivallis will continue to support tenants throughout the Christmas period with an out of hours service available for tenants who need help with urgent repairs or support.
