Every year, the third Monday in January is dubbed as ‘Blue Monday’. It is given this name as people are said to be feeling blue due to the cold weather, feeling the pinch on finances after Christmas and looking for things to inspire them to improve themselves in the New Year.
At Trivallis, we want to challenge this and look for the positives. So, from Monday 18th January we will be bringing you a Week of Wellbeing.
Our Week of Wellbeing will see us sharing advice and support on a different wellbeing topic each day throughout the week, to help you take care of your wellbeing. Read more to find out what we will have on offer…
Mindful Monday: get advice on how to be more mindful and relaxed, as well as information on what help is available if you or someone you know needs support with mental health.
Talk it Out Tuesday: get advice on how having simple conversations around mental health can bring so many benefits to wellbeing. We’ll also be sharing tips to ‘talk it out’ from our Board Member, Julian John, who is the Chief Executive of Cwm Taf Morgannwg Mind.
Wellbeing Wednesday: find our top tips for taking care of your wellbeing, especially during the Welsh lockdown.
Thankful Thursday: say thank you to people in our communities who made a huge impact on the lives of their neighbours. We’re also asking you to spread a little thanks and tell us who you are thankful for and why.
