
It’s Supporting You Sunday! To complete our Trivallis Week of Wellbeing, we have gathered advice and support from some of our partner organisations to help support your mental health and wellbeing.
At Trivallis, we are proud to work closely with our partner organisations in different areas across the business. Find out what mental health and wellbeing support they have available to you, below:
Cwm Taf Morgannwg Mind
This charity is your local Mind Charity that provides a range of quality services to individuals who experience mental or emotional distress throughout Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Bridgend.
Tips on how to help your wellbeing:
- Five Ways to Wellbeing: Five evidenced-based actions you can take that are designed to improve personal wellbeing: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Learn and Give. Read more, here.
Support services available:
- Primary care and prevention services: targeting people with mild-to-moderate mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and self-esteem these are available in selected GP Practices, Dewi Sant Hospital and across Primary Care Mental Health Support Services.
- Housing related support services: these seek to prevent homelessness, support with access to housing and enable people to develop personal resilience.
- Support and recovery services: a variety of services available to everyone seeking help and support to enable them to return to their normal state of health, mind or strength.

- Mind’s Advice Line: for mental health services and support available to you, call 0300 123 3393.
- Mind’s Legal Line: for mental health, community care, human rights, and discrimination advice, call 0300 466 6463.
- Access Elefriends: online peer support to ‘Be Active’ where you can share stories and link with others. Find out more at: elefriends.org.uk
New Horizons
This is a mental health and emotional wellbeing resource centre based in Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Bridgend. Due to COVID-19, the centres are currently closed but the support has moved online and can all be accessed, here.
Support services available:
- Befriending service: free telephone service that you can talk to a befriender for emotional support.
- Weekly Zoom meetings: join in on a weekly zoom meeting to discuss how you are feeling or for a friendly chat.
- Recovery college courses: free courses to help you on your road to recovery, taking place online due to COVID- 19. For more information and to enrol, visit here.
- Bereaved by suicide peer support group: join with others to discuss your experiences in a safe environment. Takes place Monday 5pm-7pm via Zoom. Find out more, here.

Communities for Work
This is a community based service in Rhondda Cynon Taf, working to increase the employability of individuals who are not in employment, education or training and face barriers to employment. If you are struggling with this and it’s impacting your wellbeing, there is help available to you.
