In just 30 days Team Trivallis has walked the length of the Welsh coastal path, not once but twice. That’s a total of 1760 miles throughout the month of April!
When we first launched our Trek with Trivallis challenge, our aim was to complete 870 miles in 30 days. This meant virtually walking the distance of the Welsh coastal path, from Chester to Chepstow throughout the month of April. However, after just two weeks, the team had already completed it, so we took the challenge up a level and aimed to return to where we began.
During week one, 486.86 miles were covered by Team Trivallis. Week two saw us cover another 384.46 miles. Week three, an additional 354.38 miles was added to the total and now at the end of week four, an extra 556.1 miles have been trekked.
This brings us to a final total of 1781.8 miles!
Team Trivallis has made an amazing effort to complete this charity fundraising trek for Alzheimer’s Society Cymru. Now that it’s complete, if you would like to sponsor Team Trivallis, you can visit our Just Giving page and submit your donation, make sure to remember to leave your name.
All funds raised from the challenge will go directly to the Dementia Connects service in RCT. £99 will mean 10 people can begin their Dementia Connect journey by receiving their first call from a telephone based Dementia Advisor. You can find out more about this service and access the support, here.
We would like to say a big thank you to the team of volunteers that took part in our Trek with Trivallis challenge over the last month, we would not have been able to complete it without you.
