In March 2020, when the Government announced that we were heading into a National lockdown because of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the safety of our colleagues and communities being our priority, we closely followed Welsh Government Guidance and professional health and safety advice to adapt our services. This was no mean feat, and we are extremely thankful for the patience of tenants and hard work of our colleagues to adapt to constant change.
We’ve taken a look back between April 2020 and March 2021 to focus on our response to COVID-19 as well as examples of how we have worked with tenants and partners to create a better future and move towards achieving our vision of prosperous people and places.
Chief Executive, Ian Thomas, said: “In March 2020 the world stood still. The COVID-19 pandemic became reality here in Wales and we first heard the message: ‘stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives’. The closure of offices saw homes become workplaces and the closure of schools saw homes become classrooms. Never before has home meant so much to so many.
“At Trivallis, we’ve made big changes to adapt to new ways of working. It has been a huge learning experience for us and, whilst some days have been extremely difficult, the pandemic and all it has brought with it has highlighted what we can achieve when we work together. In this annual review, we will highlight just some of the great things we have achieved and what impact they have had, and will continue to have, on our communities.”
