We have been made aware that some residents have received phone calls from a company called ‘Surveyor System’, who are claiming to be property surveyors and asking tenants what repairs are outstanding on their homes.

These calls are not from Trivallis, and we urge you to never give personal details over the phone.

Please only discuss or report repairs to our customer services team, who are on hand to help you with matters regarding your home.

If you do receive a call and you are unsure, ask for their company name and call us on 03000 030 888 to check the legitimacy of the call.

Other common types of scams include:

  •  Home visits from individuals claiming to be contractors
  • Companies claiming tenants are owed compensation
  • Phone calls from a bank claiming there is an issue with your account or card

Please note, all Trivallis staff and our contractor partners are required to carry identification. If they are unable to confirm who they are and where they work do not let them in. Contact us directly to check.

Never give out personal details over the phone, and do not feel rushed into making any kind of financial decision.

If you think that you have been contacted by a fake company, you can report this to Ofcom, by texting 7726 and the number that was used to contact you by the false company. This is an official process used to regulate the UK communications services.
