On 1st December, the biggest change to the housing law in Wales for decades, came into force. The Renting Homes Act (Wales) 2016 officially came into place, meaning changes for you as a tenant and for Trivallis, as your landlord.
The new Act protects the interests of both landlords and tenants, improving how homes in Wales are rented, managed, and lived in.
The introduction of the new Act, brings lots of changes to all Trivallis tenants, including new improved rights for you and new standards, setting out the quality of Trivallis homes. It also includes replacing your existing ‘Tenancy Agreement’ with a new ‘Occupation Contract’.
