This festive season, the Trivallis team has been making a positive impact on the lives of tenants and community members. Through heartfelt initiatives, staff members have come together to share the festive spirit.
Organised by the Support Services Teams, Trivallis staff identified individuals in need and worked together to make a difference.
One standout effort involved donating 60 toys to children aged 0-16, bringing a touch of Christmas magic to families receiving support services. Additionally, staff generously contributed 60 boxes of chocolates to spread sweet holiday cheer among service users.
Recognising that some were at risk of going hungry this Christmas, Trivallis staff also donated five large boxes and a shopping trolley filled with food and toiletries. These items are being turned into care hampers, directly benefiting tenants in need during the holiday season. Any surplus items will be given to a local food bank, extending the support to others in our communities.
For the most vulnerable tenants, the Support Services Teams went above and beyond by arranging for a delightful 2-course lunch to be delivered on Christmas Eve, ensuring that no one misses out on a festive feast.
The generosity of Trivallis staff extended beyond smaller gifts, with a donated bike and Christmas tree already bringing joy to individuals in the community.
“Trivallis Support Services are here for you throughout the year, not just at Christmas. If you’re facing challenges, please reach out to us. Together, we can make a difference.” said Claire Overd, Support Services Manager at Trivallis.
In addition to donating much-needed items to support tenants this Christmas, staff members have also been actively fundraising for our charity partner, Valleys Kids. A combination of staff and tenant fundraising has made a huge difference to those living in our communities.
From buying Christmas wish baubles to dressing up in their best festive outfit or entering our Christmas raffles, every pound donated has gone towards the great work Valleys Kids do.
Throughout December, staff and tenants have raised a total of £513.43!
A special congratulations to all our raffle prize winners. We have now contacted all the lucky winners to collect their prizes. Unfortunately, if you have not received an email confirming you have won, better luck next time!
Here are two lucky winners Rhianne and Rose-Marie, collecting their prizes to enjoy over Christmas.
We would like to say a big thank you to the Support Services Teams and Charity Partner Group for organising the donations and fundraising this Christmas.
We would also like to thank partners, contractors, local businesses, and staff for donating prizes to our staff and tenant raffles.
And finally, a huge thank you to every member of staff and tenant who has helped us give back so much this Christmas. You’ve really helped us make a difference this year!
We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
