This summer we are carrying out a review of how we set our rents and service charges.
We would like our customers to influence this process to ensure that our future rents are fair and affordable. We’ll also be looking for feedback from tenants and leaseholders who live in flats and pay for extra services like communal cleaning and grass cutting. We want to ensure that we’re providing all our customers with value for money. This new policy could take effect from April 2019.
Our current model for setting rents was decided over 10 years ago; following stock transfer in 2007 and it sets rent by property type and size (number of bedrooms) only.
We have created a survey so you have the chance to influence how we decide to set our rents in the future. The survey should take less than five minutes to complete.
