Scaffolding Safety in Fernhill

We’ve received a number of reports about young people climbing on scaffolding in Fernhill.

As a parent or guardian it is your responsibility to take note of safety signs and information asking you and your family to stay away from the areas where construction work is taking place.

Please – if your children are out and about on the estate, make sure they understand that climbing on the scaffolding is not only incredibly dangerous but is also a form of trespassing and could lead to prosecution.

We’re carrying out a number of improvement works in this area and would really appreciate your cooperation and willingness to stay safe and sound during this time. The work is due to start on Tuesday 7 August.
