Over the past two years, Trivallis' staff and customers have raised over £8,000 for Tenovus Cancer Care through fundraising initiatives like bike rides, afternoon teas and even head shaves.
Now, the organisation is looking to develop its next two year partnership with a charity that has a positive impact on people’s lives in the communities where its homes are based and fits with the organisation's vision and purpose.
Tracey Cooke, senior regeneration programme manager at Trivallis, said: “It’s been a fantastic two years supporting Tenovus Cancer Care and we’ve raised a significant amount that will make a real difference to the lives of those affected by cancer.
“We are now looking for a different charity to support and are asking staff and customers to get involved with the decision making process. We want a partnership that works for both organisations and will make the biggest impact to people in communities across Rhondda Cynon Taff.”
The first stage of this process will involve a staff and customer panel, to which charities from across the county borough will pitch the work that they do and ideas for the charity partnership.
The panel will then decide on two potential partners to go out for customer vote.
If you’re a Trivallis customer and want to get involved in the charity partner panel, or you are an RCT based charity that would like to be considered as our next partner, please email email@example.com for more information.
The panel meeting will be held on Friday 12th April 2019 at Trivallis’ Pontypridd offices.
