How to pay your rent

There’s a number of different ways you can pay your rent making it as simple as possible for you.

Direct Debit

We take your rent straight from your bank account so you don't have to worry about remembering to pay. It’s easy, convenient, doesn’t cost you anything and we do all the work.  We'll always let you know well in advance about any changes, such as rent increases, so you can stay in control of your budget. Post Office

We give you a payment card that you can use to pay your rent at any Post Office.

Your payment card will also work in any shop that displays the PayPoint logo.



You can pay online. Simply visit

Make sure you have your payment reference number handy (found on either your Trivallis or old RCT Homes rent payment card) and the debit or credit card you want to use to make the payment.

There’s also an Allpay app which you can download to your mobile phone or tablet to make it even easier to pay online.

When to pay your rent

Your rent is due to be paid weekly in advance. Your first payment is due on the day your tenancy starts.

What to do if you find it difficult to pay your rent
