Engaging with our employees, supply chain and the wider business community enables us to maximise the impact of our activities in ways that meet both business objectives and community needs. This approach achieves real behavioural change and measurable social results.
Our Plan, Your Future is the responsible business strategy of Trivallis. This is driven by a strong understanding of the key social issues affecting our tenants, communities and wider society. We recognise that as a housing provider in Wales we have a vital role to play in creating a fairer society, combating climate change and raising aspirations within communities, just to name a few.
Our Plan, Your Future is based on the four key areas:
To create an inspiring, supportive and dynamic workplace where employees will develop and thrive.
To collaborate with our supply chain partners and the wider business community in order to deliver social impact.
To reduce the environmental impact and carbon footprint of our business, our homes and our communities in order to combat climate change.
To tackle key social issues affecting our tenants and neighbourhoods in order to change people’s lives and communities for the better.
Business in the Community
Trivallis is a proud member of Business in the Community, a business-led charity that stands for responsible business.
As part of its Responsible Business Network in Wales, we seek to engage with the businesses community in Wales and participate in a number of its programmes including its volunteering movement Give & Gain Day.
We have been recognised at BITC Cymru’s Responsible Business Awards for our work to tackle issues faced by our tenants every day including high energy costs, poor access to online services, lack of financial advice and unemployment.
Having been recognised in 2012 and 2014 as Wales’ Responsible Large Business of the Year, we received reaccreditation in 2016 recognising the sustained impact of our responsible business strategy.
