We're a housing association in Wales, and we know how special the Welsh language is to our community's history and who we are.

Welsh language policy

We are committed to meeting the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011. We want to promote the Welsh language within our organisation and work with Welsh-speaking communities.

We want to make sure that Welsh is a living and vibrant language within our organisation.

We aim to:

Provide communications in Welsh language where possible

Ensure high quality services through the medium of Welsh.

Encourage others to promote and use the Welsh language.

Promote and facilitate the use of the Welsh language in the workplace.

We believe that people can say what they think and need better in their chosen language. Supporting people to use Welsh is the right thing to do. Not letting someone use Welsh when they want to, could make things harder for them.

We will try to use Welsh in the following areas:

  • Planning and delivering services
  • Welsh language promotion and support
  • Staff recruitment and training
  • Community engagement
  • Third party services
